A lot of stuff has been going on since we last met up — I really haven’t posted much, seems I am a bit too lazy to be a blogger. One thing remains constant though, several people who read this site in March are now making very large sums of money. I’ve heard mentions of NickyCakes making over a million in the last three months, as well as a few other people in his IRC channel such as jelf3, bluebobbo (”Internet Friends Blog“), and ricdes.

I’m not going to claim to be the reason these people have become successful - most of them have worked their ass off and deserve every penny of it. Others have done everything they can to try and nickel and dime their blogs to death to earn a some chump-change. I won’t bash those people (even though I just ‘anchored’ chump to one individuals name) — but rather, high five to you for at least earning some money from people gullible enough to believe your snake oil.

That being said - I feel like it is time I tell you about my job title change. I am no longer, “deStone, Affiliate Marketer”, but rather “deStone, Entrepreneur”. I read this great book i picked up in the airport - “How to get Rich” by Felix Dennis, owner of Maxim magazine. Within ten minutes of cracking this book, I was sure I was made to be the guy he describes as an entrepreneur. I wont ruin it for you — he is a very humourous author, blasting Jack Welch zombies and other “upper management” instructionals.

All of that comes to filter into this one point. I am going to try and do a better job of posting. I am going to return to the original roots of this blog and just toss out ideas that I am either too lazy to do on my own or figure that someone else can do in a better, faster way. Anyways, it’ll be entertaining. Trust me on that.

Maybe I should start doing shameless gymnastic webcam performances for money? Anyone want to see that? I do have a cam. Barman loves it.

I did not attend Affiliate Summit East - between moving, getting married, hanging out with random family members, and a few ‘issues’, I was unable to attend and meet all of you wonderful people. That being said, I promise to come to ASW (its my birthday weekend) and I will be bringing free t-shirts to everyone who wants one. I have not designed them yet, but I’ll make them unique and fun. If you wanna design me a logo, that’d be badass…
